These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of marylandenergyrebates.org (the "Site"). By using the Site or submitting the eligibility check you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is — and is not

The Site provides general information about home efficiency programs available to Maryland homeowners and connects interested homeowners with service providers. Maryland Energy Rebates is not a government agency, utility, program administrator, manufacturer or lender and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the State of Maryland, the Maryland Energy Administration, the Public Service Commission, any utility or any federal agency. Nothing on the Site is an application for, approval of, or reservation of any rebate, credit, grant or incentive.

2. No guarantee of eligibility, savings or amounts

Program rules, funding, eligibility and payment amounts are set by each program administrator and can change or end without notice. We do not promise that any program applies to you, that funding is available, that you will qualify, or that you will achieve any particular saving. Always confirm current requirements directly with the administrator before buying equipment or signing a contract.

3. The eligibility check and contact consent

When you submit the eligibility check you confirm that the information is accurate, that you are at least 18 years old and that you own or are authorized to act for the Maryland home described. Your request is delivered to Super Saving Heating Inc., which may contact you as described in the consent text on the form and in our Privacy Policy. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of any purchase. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Service providers

Any assessment, quotation, installation or other service is provided by the service provider under its own terms and licences, not by the Site. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a service provider and are not responsible for its work, pricing or conduct. Verify licensing (for example the Maryland Home Improvement Commission licence of any home-improvement contractor) before engaging anyone.

5. Information accuracy

We work to keep the Site current and cite official sources where possible, but the content is provided "as is" for general information only and may contain errors or be out of date. It is not legal, tax, engineering or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your situation.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, to use automated tools to scrape or submit forms, to interfere with the Site's operation, or to use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's text, graphics, logo and design are owned by or licensed to Maryland Energy Rebates and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

8. Third-party links

Links to utility, government and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content and are not responsible for them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maryland Energy Rebates and the operator of the Site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Site, a program decision, or the acts of a service provider. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed US$100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site's operator from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
