This Privacy Policy explains how Maryland Energy Rebates ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit marylandenergyrebates.org (the "Site") or submit the eligibility check. The Site is an information and referral website for Maryland homeowners. We are not a government agency or utility.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you complete the eligibility check we collect whether you own your home, your ZIP code, first and last name, email address, home address and phone number, together with the date, time and page on which you gave consent.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites we may receive your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring page through standard server logs and, once enabled, analytics and advertising cookies (see section 5).

2. How we use it

• To pass your request to a service provider so an advisor can contact you about Maryland utility and local home efficiency programs that may apply to your home.
• To respond to questions you send us.
• To operate, secure and improve the Site and measure the performance of our advertising.
• To keep a record of the consent you gave.

3. Who receives your information

Requests submitted on the Site are delivered to Super Saving Heating Inc. (Management@supersavingheatinginc.com), the service provider that handles requests from this website and that may contact you by phone, text message or email. Your information may also be processed by the technical vendors that run the Site (hosting, form delivery, analytics and advertising platforms) under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

4. Calls, text messages and email

By ticking the consent box on the eligibility check you agree that we and Super Saving Heating Inc. may call, text (including with automated technology) or email you at the contact details you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, asking the caller to stop, or emailing Management@supersavingheatinginc.com.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of interest-based advertising through Facebook ad preferences and Google ad settings. The Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing Management@supersavingheatinginc.com. Where state law gives you additional rights (for example under the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act or other U.S. state privacy laws), we will honor them as required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

7. Data retention and security

We keep request records for as long as needed to respond to you, to keep evidence of consent and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

The Site is intended for adults who own a home in Maryland. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Links to other sites

The Site links to utility, state and federal websites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
