Maryland Energy Rebates & Efficiency Incentives, explained for homeowners.
Find the utility and county programs that may apply to your home, learn what each one requires, and check current funding before you plan an upgrade.
A request here is not a rebate application.
Federal homeowner credits 25C and 25D are unavailable for new installations after December 31, 2025. Maryland HEAR and HOMES rebates have not launched: on September 30, 2026 the Maryland Energy Administration submitted updated applications for both programs to the U.S. Department of Energy. Confirm current utility funding before committing to work.

Confirm eligible work
Ask the program administrator about the exact equipment, contractor requirements, funding and whether another incentive can be combined.
